A device for extraction of cross-sectional samples of a fluid material flowing in a tube is designed to provide as accurately as possible an image of the cross-sectional distribution whilst not restricting flow significantly and whilst bearing easily operated. An extractor (11) moving perpendicular to the pipe through a pipe cross-section has two transmission openings (12, 13) permitting flow in the pipe with the extractor at either end of its travel. Between the openings perpendicular to the pipe axis and the extractor movement plane is a blind hole (16) connected to an outlet pipe for fluid extraction. The blind hole is accessible to a slit (19) the same height as the openings and positioned on the upstream side of the extractor.
|
