Large concrete bridge slab support without formwork - comprises reinforced concrete slab and steel T=beam as lower and upper chords

The supporting carrier is for bridge slabs of up to 15 m span width and uses a reinforced concrete slab (1) as lower chord, and one or more steel T-girders (2) with a perforated stem (4) as upper chord. The stem ends are chored in the and holes in the stem are left clear for penetration by site concrete (22). The stem have trapezoid projections (5) and cutouts. Head bolt dowel plugs (7) may be welded into the lateral face of the stem in the anchoring area, or onto the top flange of the steel girder. There may be holed (7) in the stem edge, for passage of reinforcing rods (10) on the concrete slab. Supporting frame construction is also eliminated.
