Perpetual calendar for advertising purposes has socket with large vertical area comprising two parallel side members. The vertical area (2) of the socket (1) forms an upper attachment consisting of two side members (3, 4) which are arranged at a distance from each other. The upper section of the attachment (2) comprises a rear wall (6) and a transparent front panel (7) which are connected to the side members (3, 4). A cavity (12) is formed between the rear wall (6) and the transparent front panel (4) and is open towards the top. It houses seven, pref. square, columns (13) arranged adjacent to one another. The outside of the columns feature dates.
