<p>The computerised electronic flash, for photographic use, not only terminates flash exposure according to the refected light from the subject but adjusts flash duration according to film speed and aperture setting. The flash is intended for automatic cameras, esp. those with shutter priority, and requires input information from the camera such as film speed, aperture setting, so that correct flash exposure can be given. Connection of flash to camera will be through a hot shoe (11) so that jack connections (T1, T2, T3, T4) can carry the variety of information about camera settings required by the flash during flash exposure. Sensitivity of the sensor circuit (137) is tuned by aperture setting (134) information to capacitors (135) and film speed (133) to a potentiometer (144).</p> |
