Safety belt system for car passengers - is locked and unlocked by motor fed from speedometer switch when car starts and stops to prevent unfastening during motion

A safety belt for car passengers has to be fixed and unfixed when the car starts or stops. The locking buckle has a female part (1) joined to one end of the belt (2) and another male part (3) joined to the other part of the belt (4). The male part is hollow and in its inside has a reversible electric motor (5). The output shaft (5) of the motor has a pinion (6) fixed to it and this engages with two racks diametrically opposite to the pinion. Each rack has a latch which engages in the male part. The motor is fed by a wire (12) from the battery via a switch on the speedometer.
