<p>The speed limiting controller for a vehicle has an electromechanical assembly which works multi-coloured lights in the front and rear and inside of the vehicle. The speedometer drive drives a shaft over which are fitted two sleeves connected by spring strips and carrying bob weights. The weights take up different positions, according to speed. Sliding of a sleeve actuates a rack and, in turn, a pinion on the end of a pointer. The other end of the pointer has a spring contact which completes a circuit to the appropriate light.</p> |
