<p>The machine comprises a base plate on which the piston cylinder is trunnion-mouned for the piston to stroke roughly parallel to the base plate. The trunnion support cradle is rigidly linked with the rods to a pitston rod-bearing block fixed to the base plate. The bearing blocks also provides a pviot axis pin for a cam which can be lever-rotated to tilt a spring-returned jamming plate. The jamming plate is threaded on to the piston rod with slight diametral clearance and locks onto the rod when slightly tilted, then advances the rod as lever rotation continues. Used for mfr. of sausages and othe rfilled skin delicatessen prods., cheeses etc. This is a very cheap, simple, trouble-free machine for small scale prodn. without power operation.</p> |
