The working platform assembly has ladder-like end frames on which the platform and its guard rails may be mounted. The platform has a base frame with hooks which may be positioned over the rings of the end frames, there being three hooks at each end of the platform. The platform base frame consists of two L-shaped members which are coupled at their corners by a spacer bar. The adjustability of the platform assembly allows it to be used on stairs with the platform horizontal.
