The equipment tests substances for contracting or relaxing effect on isolated smooth muscular organs. It comprises a temp. bath with one or more organ vessels and saturation vessels and an adjustable mounting for the prepared organ. The liq. bath is held at constant temp. by means of inlet and outlet, and the organ and saturation vessels are suspended above it, being secured by a screw clamp to the lid. The vessels are connected to each other at the bottom and middle by two supply pipes. The nutrient supply, controlled by a solenoid valve and regulated for temp. by the heat exchanger, is mounted at the top of the organ vessel.
