<p>The pneumatic conveyor sending and receiving station has separate loading and extraction openings for outgoing and incoming slugs, there being an ejector rail pivoting on an external axis at right angles to that of the tube and protruding inside the extraction opening. The loading opening is above the extraction opening, and the rail turns freely. The rail can be a double-armed lever, whose outer arm ends in a curved portion deflecting the slug, while its centre of gravity is near the outer arm. The angle through which the rail can pivot can be limited in both directions, and its inner arm can extend through a slot formed in the tube on the opposite side to the extraction opening, resting against a fixed stop.</p> |
