<p>1516929 Flame retardant compositions STAUFFER CHEMICAL CO 3 Sept 1976 [15 Sept 1975] 36593/76 Heading C3R A flame retardant composition comprises a polyester (e.g. polybutylene terephthalate) and a copolymer derived from (a) benzene phosphorus oxydichloride, (b) a diphenol selected from 4,41-thiodiphenol, 2,4<1>-thiodiphenol, 4,4<1>- sulphonyldiphenol and 2,4<1>-sulphonyldiphenol, and (c) phosphorus oxychloride. The copolymer is preferably present in an amount of from 0À4 to 20% by weight based on the composition.</p> |
