<p>The heart beat regulation system is particularly for control of the heart beat and resuscitation in emergency situations, by means of a previously metered electrical pulse applied via electrodes. To meter the pulse, its electrical charge is determined during simultaneous measurement of the impedance between the electrodes, and controlled while taking the measured impedance into account. The charge can be determined by measuring the currents flowing through the electrodes and integrating them over the time period. The results measured are also used for impedance measurement.</p> |
