<p>Concrete is protected from corrosion by spraying or painting on a bitumen emulsion or a mixt. of bitumen emulsion with a dispersion of an elastomer or a plastomer. The coating produced is 1-3 mm thick and a further coating of bitumen in an organic solvent, alternatively an elastomer or plastomer dissolved in an organic solvent, is applied either before or after the emulsion. This layer is 0.5 mm thick. Useful for agricultural constructions used for storing silage, potatoes, liquid manure, which develops aggressive organic acids, or for the storing of fertilisers.</p> |
