The packing box is rectangular in section and is designed to be maintained in the vertical position. The packing box has a water bath in the base made from waterproof material. The bath is flanged at the top and is fitted with ribs in the base so that the flowers stems do not crowd down one side. The water bath is covered by a cardboard lid which is flanged to fit over the water tray. The cover is pierced with holes to allow the flower stalks to pass into the bath. The carton is opened at the front and covered with transparent material.
