PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery that has an excellent discharge characteristic and is excellent in reliability under a high-temperature environment.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprising a negative electrode containing metallic lithium or lithium alloy, a positive electrode, a separator, and nonaqueous electrolytic solution, the positive electrode contains a manganese-containing oxide as a positive electrode active material, and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains at least cyclic carbonate as solvent and an unsaturated cyclic sultone compound of 0.7 to 10 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
