PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine valve device capable of suppressing a wear of a valve surface and a valve seat.SOLUTION: An engine valve device is equipped with a poppet valve 1 carrying out intake or exhaust and a valve cap 2. The poppet valve 1 is equipped with a valve head 1a and a valve shaft 1b, and the valve cap 2 is fitted with an end portion of the valve shaft 1b. The valve cap 2 is loosely fitted at an end portion 1c of the valve shaft 1b so as to rotate. The valve cap 2 is a bent article of sheet metal, and equipped with an end wall 3 and a peripheral wall 4. The peripheral wall 4 is formed by folding a plurality of tongue pieces 4a radially projecting out from a periphery of the end wall 3 to the valve shaft 1b side, and an oil replenish clearance 4b is held between the tongue pieces 4a and 4a adjacent to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
