The cathode bars contact sheet metal strips 2', Fig. 4, which are bent over the bars on further progress of the sheets so that the ends rest on both sides of sheet 1. Holes are punched through the ends where they overlap the sheets to form a firm, rigid connection between the sheet and the cathode-bar. |
