1519659 Buckle S W BENGTSSON 5 Oct 1976 [17 Nov 1975] 41222/76 Heading E2A A self-locking buckle comprises a frame 10 provided with a passage 15 in which a locking washer 16 slides, the locking washer includes a cross member 17 which subdivides the space within the frame into two openings 20 and 21. When the buckle is threaded by a bolt 22, 23, 24 as shown in Fig. 3 the buckle is selflocking as the belt is tightened since cross member 17 presses the belt against frame side member 12. By pressing tongue 19 of the locking washer inwards the tightened belt may be released. |
