<p>Armchair seat spring structure, secured to the chair frame. The set of springs supporting the upholstery of the seat are stretched across a frame (8) fixed to a torsion spring (6), part of which is clamped in position at a set angle in relation to the chair frame. Bar and notched plate are provided for adjustment of the angle typically a lever fixed to the middle of the torsion spring and lockable in various positions. To hold the seat at a desired level in the unloaded condition, the seat frame can be anchored by wire etc. (13) to the chair frame at the end opposite to the torsion spring. The seat frame can be a U-shaped stirrup, whose ends are secured to the torsion spring, which can be formed by a packet of leak springs enclosed by sleeves joined to the seat frame, the chair frame and the adjusting lever.</p> |
