PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device that can prevent liquid from leaking to the outside, and which enables fine clamping and unclamping of a tool holder without giving a damage to a seal body, caused by unclamping of the tool holder.SOLUTION: There is provided a clamp device 10 to which a tool holder 30 having a first fluid path 51 can be removably attached, and which includes a main body 11 having a second fluid path 52 to communicate with the first fluid path 51. When the tool holder 30 is clamped on the main body 11, the first fluid path 51 and the second fluid path 52 communicate with each other, and fluid is supplied to the fluid paths 51, 52. The clamp device further includes a seal member 65 for sealing up a gap S between the main body 11 and the tool holder 30, where the fluid supplied to the first and second fluid paths 51, 52 communicates with the inside of the clamp device. The seal member 65 can move between: a first position where a margin of the seal member to be squashed by the tool holder 30 is large when the tool holder 30 is clamped; and a second position where the margin of the seal member to be squashed by the tool holder 30 is smaller than that at the first position, when the tool holder 30 is unclamped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
