<p>The fastening for attaching a sieve base to a supporting structure has bolts (7) which fit into openings in the structure. On the side remote from the head (8) is a resilient part (9) which expands over the edge of the opening (11) once the bolt (7) has been inserted. The sieve base can be easily fastened by placing it on the supporting structure and hammering it down so that the bolts fit securely in the openings. For sieve bases having moulded parts of plastics which on two opposite sides are comb shaped to engage the bolt heads, each can have an opening through which the connecting rod can be passed. The connecting rod also passes through the openings of the combs and each head is set in place of a comb. For other sieve bases, the bolts can in known way be screw bolts whilst the resilient parts can be nuts.</p> |
