Concrete incorporating wood chip and dust fillers - for low cost density reduction and insulation enhancement

摘要

A mixture of wood chips, sawdust and a catalysed cement based binder is used as filler for making concrete having reduced density and enhanced insulation characteristics coupled with solidarity, water- and fire-resistance. The filler is cheap, pref. waste or recycled material. The composite material is more robust than plain cellular concrete.
