<p>The device for measuring certain properties of particles suspended in a medium has a narrowing flow path ending in a hole which the medium flows owing to a pressure difference. The particles are fed through a capillary tube ending in an exit hole, and carried by the medium flow to a measurement point. The flow path up to the hole (103), which can be of any cross section, narrows at different rates, in two planes (x/z plane, y/z plane). The ratio (A/a, B/b) of the liquid flow width (A, B) at the particle suspension entry point to the hole width (a, b) is different in the two planes.</p> |
