The invention relates to a device (1) with adjustable resistance in which the resistance can have more than two values, said device comprising a stack of two conducting electrodes (3, 4) separated by an insulating layer (5), characterised in that the stack of electrodes (3, 4) separated by the insulating layer (5) forms a tunnel junction (2) and in that said insulating layer is made of a ferroelectric material in which the polarisation according to the electrical field generated in the material is defined by a plurality of interleaved and contiguous hysteresis loops, the resistance of the device depending on the polarisation of the ferroelectric material. |
