<p>The wiper blade bracket is joined to the free end of the wiper arm by means of a flexible coupling piece. The coupling piece has flexible legs extending from a bearing which partly encloses a pivot peg fixed to the wiper blade bracket. The legs fit exactly into the hook shaped end of the wiper arm. One coupling leg carries a locking projection on its outer surface. The locking projection engages with an opening provided close to the wiper arm hooked end. In an alternative locking system, the freed end of the wiper arm hook is slotted and projected downwards.</p> |
