The electric alarm clock has a quartz oscillator, an analogue time display and an electroacoustic transducer (5) for providing an audible alarm signal. The electroacoustic transducer (5) comprises a control stage (6) and a membrane (4), the latter combined with the clock face (3). Pref. a transparent front cover (12) is secured to a frame (11) to which the periphery of the membrane (4) is attached on the opposite side, this frame (11) pref. formed as a shoulder integral with the clock case.
