<p>The system adjusts the delivery rate of a vibratory conveyer with rotary drive, the conveyer being of the two weight type set at near resonance. The drive speed is periodically varied, the higher rotational speed causing a useful oscillation amplitude of the transporting surface such as to transport the material. The lower speed is at least 80% of the higher one, giving an amplitude such that the material remains on the surface. The ratio between the periods for which the conveyer runs at the different speeds can be steplessly adjustable. A drive can be used having two different rotational output speeds varying by as much as 20%.</p> |
