<p>The front of the trousers has a slit extending from the girdle to a point above the crotch, the two edges of which have complementary fastenings. The waistband also has fastenings of variable and adjustable length so that the slit can be closed or opened in a "V". In addition there is a triangular piece which is either movable or can be detached completely from the trousers. The trousers can be used for normal wear or the triangular piece can form part of the trousers during pregnancy, being attached by the apex of the triangle at a point between the crotch and the bottom of the slit, and by detachable fastenings at the waist so as to mask the aperture whatever its degree of opening. The trousers have no gussets to form creases.</p> |
