<p>The moving contact of the contactor forms an electric connection between two stationary contacts under the effect of a magnetic field. The moving contact is in the form of a pin (5) freely movable in a chamber (3a) whose inside is conductive. One stationary contact (4) is fitted to the chamber inside, while the other stationary contact (2) is so positioned that the pin is attracted to it under the effect of an actuating magnet. Preferably the pin has a large play in the chamber. The pin head (5a) contacting the second stationary contact (2) may be rounded so that the pin body in the contactor closed position is always obliquely positioned.</p> |
