Floppy disc memory with closed square casing - has diagonally arranged slots in casing for read-write head access and round central holes for drive capstan

The floppy disc is contained within a closed container and has facility for read/write via a diagonal aperture. The floppy disc (29) is loosely contained within a housing (26) with all four sides sealed. The read-write pick-up has access to the disc through diagonal (32) slots on either side. The slots may be on a diagonal ending in a corner strengthened by folded over sides. Each side of the housing has a central round opening to accommodate a drive capstan. Within the container there are two anti-static sheets (31) that are pivotted at one corner and are free to move within the container.
