Contact element for roll-type capacitor comprises a contact disc with terminal wire, welded to the capacitor coil. That side of the disc free from terminal wire has >=1 projection which is pressed into the capacitor coil. The capacitor is wound, using as dielectric, thermoplastics film, specifically polyester, polycarbonate or polystyrene film.
