<p>The internal combustion engine of the main patents, has a weak mixture fed to the main combustion chamber, ignited by a flame resulting from a rich mixture ignited in the auxiliary combustion chamber. The auxiliary chamber peak pressure can be regulated by a piston (6) working in a cylinder connected to the auxiliary chamber. The piston is connected by a push rod (1) to a shaft (1) or the helical gearwheel turned by it. The shaft is in mesh with a rack (15) which is sprung at one end and subject to hydraulic pressure from a piston (16) at the opposite end. The helical gearwheel can be turned manually by a worm drive (21).</p> |
