The entry ladder, for climbing into a swimming-pool, has paired stringers protruding above the pool edge, and led back in a curve on the side facing away from the pool, with interconnecting steps. The steps (4) are made of plastic, with open cutouts in their ends matching the dia. of the stringers (2). These embrace an arc of more than 180 deg. At the point of connection with the steps each stringer has slots for passage of fixing screws. A horizontally aligned pipe socket can be fitted on the ends of the stringers extending into the pool, to hold a support buffer (5), fitting against the pool wall (1) and movable all round, this can be made up from two mutually displaceable parts. This permits variable entry width on the side facing away from the pool, for people of generous proportions.
