Stone block making moulding press - has guides locked and released by double acting cylinder and levers

The stone block making press has arrangement for covering mould box. The arrangement is actuated by lower press ram which also has means for filling and emptying the mould box. The pressing forces are applied vertically and the upper press mould box closing arrangement accommodates pressing forces. The transverse element, which bridges space between side plates (2), carries a double acting working cylinder (1). The downward projecting piston rod (4) is guided axially in the guide (10, 11). Locking elements (22) on pillars are able to swivel outwards. The piston rod actuates the locking elements for releasing or for engaging with locking pockets in plates when guide moves downward.
