Appts. for folding plastic sacks comprises two arrays of partitions which can mesh to fold flat sacks into a concertina or (vertically) undulating pattern. Gaps aligned in the middle of the partitions can be traversed by a reciprocating board to fold the sacks at right angles to the first set of folds and eject the folded bags laterally from the vertical partitions. Suitable for mechanising or automating manual folding of e.g. refuse bags for packing into boxes, dispensers etc.
