<p>Knickerbocker trousers are fitted around their hems with internal tapes carrying rubber of hooked (e.g. 'Velcro' RTM) threads which can engage stocking tops just below the wearer's knee to inhibit parting of the trousers and the stocks during exercise, e.g. skiing. The arrangement is less restrictive to the wearer's blood circulation than use of elasticated hems which can grip stocking tops sufficiently firmly.</p> |
