<p>Disc brake, partic. a partly lined disc brake, has a caliper comprising a friction lining and a bearer plate, and an operating piston of two-part construction, activated by pressure medium, and moving in a cylinder. Between the part (11) of the piston (7) facing the pressure medium side and the brake caliper (4) is a spacer piece (12) made of heat-absorbing material, which acts as pressure transmitter, and prevents metallic union. The spacer piece (12) is located in a pot-shaped floor piece (11) of the operating piston, over which (11) it projects axially. The surface of the spacer piece facing the caliper has a recess (13) or ring groove, whilst its pressure transmitting side has radial grooves (14).</p> |
