FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used for differential express diagnostics of acute viral and bacterial tonsillitis in adults. For this purpose, peripheral blood is being sampled and the content of subpopulations neutrophilic granulocytes simultaneously expressing CD16, CD11b on the membrane surface is being examined. Presence of subpopulation CD16CD11bNG% from 80 to 99.9 % with high density of CD16 expression and low density of CD11b expression is taken as a norm. If subpopulation CD16CD11bNG or CD16CD11bNG in amount of 40 % and more is detected, acute viral infection or acute bacterial infection are determined respectively.EFFECT: using the said method provides the accuracy of differential diagnostics of acute viral and bacterial tonsillitis in adults.1 cl, 3 ex, 1 tbl |
