<p>A device for releasable holding fishing sinkers comprises a resiliently biased cone-shaped receptacle (10), the bottom parts (20, 22) of which, removably coupled by a latch (24), are secured together by a locking device (32) having a driving surface (36). Upon immersion, the impact of water upon driving surface (36) pulls a tab (34) from engagement with a loop (28) to allow bottom parts (20, 22) to move apart. The receptacle (10) and the locking device (32) are injection formed into a substantially flat plastics sheet. The latch (24) is socket-like to permit securing in a conical or cylindrical configuration. </p> |
