Cushion, esp. motor vehicle seat and/or backrest is made of foam and has a stiffening insert. The foam body has >=2 opposite, spaced, holding projections. Several resilient elements are arranged inside the foam body which have angled sections extending at least partly into the holding projections. The foam body is made of polyurethane or (rubber) latex foam. The prod. has selected zones of different rigidity which not only makes for comfortable seating but also facilitates convenient processing and handling.
