<p>Fireproof compsns. applicable in aqs. medium contain a halogenated phosphoric acid ester deriv. which is emulsified in water by means of a (co)polymer of a carboxylic acid or salt thereof. The emulsifier is pref. an alkali metal salt of a (meth)acrylic or itaconic acid polymer of mol. wt. 103-106, pref. 104-105 or a water-soluble copolymer of (meth)acrylic, itaconic acid or maleic anhydride with styrene, ethylene or (meth)acrylic acid ester, of mol. wt. as above and contg. 30-70 pref. 50-60 wt. % COOH gp. No organic solvent is used. The emulsion is storage stable.</p> |
