Drier with cylindrical vessel and agitating tools - dries granular material moving along vessel with central and radial agitator

The bladed drier used for continuous parallel flow convective drying of granular material. The drier is also able to dry granular material of high moisture content such as pasty granular material in one pass. Pasty material is dried to granular consistency with acceptably low or no residual moisture. The drier has horizontal cylindrical vessel (2) of relatively small diameter. Inlet (14) and outlet (17) are at opposite ends. This vessel accommodates rotating shaft (4) carrying on its length and circumference, radial arms (5) which project close to the vessel walls (7) with agitating blades (6) which are inclined so that they act also as longitudinal transporters along the vessel. Additional agitating tools (8, 9) are fitted in the vessel wall (7) in radial direction with driving shafts.
