Flat roof solar heat collector - with panels individually hinged to adjustable common hollow spindle

An installation of gps. of solar heat collectors for buildings with flat or slightly inclined roofs can be adjusted for optimum efficiency even when the supporting wall deviates plus-or-minus 45 degrees from the east-west direction. The collectors are easy to mfr. and to install. The collector panels are pref. L-shaped and are installed on a hollow tube which can be turned by a leadscrew rank through a certain angle and which also carries the pipes for the heat transfer medium. Each panel is hinged to the tube separately and can be turned by an adjustable tie rod for matching the varying noon altitude of the sun.
