The coupling for joining hydraulic pressure lines has valves in both for closing the lines in the uncoupled state. The valve closure is axially movable against spring force within a valve guide. The opening path of the valve cone in the supply side coupling half is twice as large as that in the receiver side. The valve shaft (6) is a piston (11) in the supply side coupling half, moving in a guide (5) formed as a cylinder (10) closed at one end. Its movement is determined by the hydraulic fluid flow.
