The mechanism used to move the pressure roller employs two movement steps into the playback position (3). The first step is a readiness or pause position and the second step is the playback position, the first step being relatively long. The first step is executed e.g. by a motor drive or mechanical drive and the second step is executed very briefly by the lifting magnet (2). The pressure roller (1) may be positioned on one end of a spring-loaded lever (21) and may also have a dog (8) engaging with play in an opening (9) of a head slide (10).
