Regenerator for pseudo-ternary digital signals - multiplies regenerated carrier with frequency equal to multiple of half bit frequency by received equalised sideband

The regenerator, for carrier frequency pseudo-ternary coded digital signals, is simplified by omitting the phase selection circuit normal in such regenerators and is made independent of the coding employed. A carrier wave is derived from the received signal and has a frequency equal to a multiple of half the digital signal's bit repetition frequency at the transmitter. This carrier is then multiplied with the receive, equalised sideband to regenerate the original digital signal.
