Contra-rotating vibrator for concrete moulding machines - has gearwheel motor using connecting gear wheels of unbalanced bodies as rotors

The vibration exciter has two contra-rotating unbalanced bodies (1, 2) on parallel axes positively connected together by two gear wheels (15, 16) which form the rotary members for a gearwheel motor (18) which drives the vibrator. This reduces construction costs since individual drive motors with intermediate gearing are no longer required. The gearwheel motor can be used with oil under pressure wherein the outlet side of the motor can be provided with a throttle valve for the flow of same. The motor can be designed as a separate unit from the vibrator and can be regulated within a large speed range with a sudden change from acceleration to deceleration.
