Method and device for packaging, under a protective atmosphere, a beverage (20) stored in a reservoir (11) and transported through a circuit (17) comprising a filter (13), a shut-off member (16) downstream of the filter, an outlet orifice (21) through which the beverage flows into a container (19), wherein: the circuit is equipped with a closed buffer reservoir (14), connected between the filter and the shut-off member, and disposed above the shut-off member; the height (23) of the beverage column is kept at a substantially constant value; and an inert blanket of gas (25) is established in the buffer reservoir, said blanket of gas (25) being kept at a pressure substantially equal to ambient pressure, such that the beverage can flow at a substantially constant gravity flow rate which is not influenced by clogging of the filter. |
