A device is disclosed for connecting an electro-cardiogram machine to a patient, the device comprising a pair of jaws (10) pivoted to one another and which, being spring loaded (18) clamp around the ankle or wrist of a patient. The jaws, being of metal, are conductive and are connected by means of a ferrule (20) fixed on one of the jaws to a lead from the electro-cardiogram machine. Finger grips (16) are formed on the jaws to enable them to be opened, and cloth padding 12 soaked in water improves the electrical connection to the skin. <IMAGE> |
