<p>The toilet has an automatic seat and cover actuator, and an automatic flushing control. This automatic system is electrically powered and has a foot or hand switch. The toilet bowl cover is lifted and lowered by the powered drive. The flushing arrangement is also connected to the drive. A slowly rotating motor is fastened on a base plate, the motor shaft carrying a pinion which drives a main gear wheel with an actuating cam plate.
